The last week or so has been great. Lots of sun, almost too hot, days off due to evening shifts only. We've spent the afternoons checking out beaches in Jyväskylä. After warnings about potentially toxic algal bloom at Lake Tuomiojärvi Hanna brought me to Lake Köhniönjärvi, which I had never visited before.
Köhniönjärven uimaranta is one of Jyväskylä's official beaches so it has changing huts. It also has a wooden diving tower built on a dock. Its water quality meets EU standards, whatever those might be.
Not the best of photos, but I was more interested in sun and swimming than I was in photo-documentation. The two-level diving tower is in the background.
