hard to keep em lit

Perch, fresh from the smoking box.





I spend a lot of time fishing, but not in an unhealthy way. I have time and money left over for other pursuits as well. One fishing related investment was this smoking box which I purchased last spring. Easy to use, easy to clean. Alder chips, a couple of sugar cubes, a tiny sprig of juniper, and a low flame (even from a gas grill) are all that you need for tasty fish snacks in half an hour or less. I guess having a couple fish before you get started helps. Smoked perch is my favorite.
